What's so special about the Fantastic Frame's design?
The Fantastic Frame is called that for a reason! It's a special design feature of our inserts. We utilize gasketing as part of our frame assembly with a proper deflection rate to maximize the STC. The deflection maximizes both thermal and sound reduction because the window insert compresses in and out based on the heat, humidity, and sound waves hitting it. The molded frame is a patent pending design and is unquestionably the best product available for soundproofing (or insulating) an existing window.

How do I know these are going to work?
The Fantastic Frame window inserts have both real-world and lab-tested confirmation that they are a best in class solution. If you have sound or heat passing through a window, our window insert will substantially reduce it. For sound, perceived noise reduction typically ranges from 50-80% depending on the performance of your current window and the size of the air gap between your window and the insert. For thermal, heat transfer has been tested with a 62% reduction for prime windows. We have heard from customers with up to 70% energy bill savings, but each situation is different. The typical expectation is 30-40% when installed in every window
How much does it cost?
A window insert can be anywhere from $250 to $1000 depending on the size of the window. Most window inserts are between $350 and $550, with bulk discounts available after purchasing at least 5.
Is this easy to install?
Yes. The specifics vary from window-to-window, but each window takes about 30 minutes to install even with minimal experience.

Apply foam strip to metal attachment angle.Note: for small orders, we will do this step for you.
Step 2
Verify window opening measurements. Cut metal attachment angles using yellow handle tin snips.
Step 3
Remove peel and stick backing from foam. Using the provided screws, screw in the 4 metal attachment angles in window opening with the foam facing the jamb.
Step 4
Place Fantastic Frame insert into window opening by placing bottom in first. Then tilt the window insert up until magnets have snapped into place.
Step 5
After confirming fit, put the window insert back on the floor. Remove the protective film from the exterior acrylic and clean the glass using the included glass cleaner. Once clean, re-magnetize the window insert frame to the metal angles to re-seal the window.
Step 6
After all steps are complete and window insert is in place, you may remove the protective film from the exterior acrylic and repeat the glass cleaning from step 5. Soundproofing complete!
